Many websites promote segments of Michael Wood’s History of India as proving beyond a reasonable doubt that people of India had nothing to do with Rig Veda or Sanskrit and they both were brought by outsiders – presumably Europeans. I finally ran into one blog that exposed the reasons behind such conclusions.

The 2008 documentary “Story of India” concludes Rig Veda originated outside of Indian Subcontinent. This conclusion ignores many other evidence to the contrary and perpetuates the unproven theories proposed by European scholars in the 19th century.
